Art : Friday 17th June 2022 : Monet Haystacks


Year  5 continued with their work on Monet. They looked at the different versions of Haystacks that Monet painted. They then had a go at painting their own haystacks focusing on colour palettes for each season.

Isle of Wight Library Service

 Adam from the Isle of Wight library service came in to introduce the summer reading scheme to the children. The children will need to sign up for the scheme:gadgeteers. There are stickers, games and a gift each time you visit. Each child must read 6 books over the summer.  Once the children have visited three times they will be given a certificate and a medal. All the library asks is that the children write a review of one of the books they have read by 17th September.
