PSHE - Discrimination

 This week the class had a lovely discussion about discrimination and what this means. 

Darlee - a character from our scheme informed us what could be construed as discrimination. Here are some of them: 



From there we had a great class discussion about where we have seen discrimination and what could happen if we discriminated against others.  

Such a sensible discussion Galileo Class as we were all able to talk openly and ask questions.

Isle of Wight Library Service

 Adam from the Isle of Wight library service came in to introduce the summer reading scheme to the children. The children will need to sign up for the scheme:gadgeteers. There are stickers, games and a gift each time you visit. Each child must read 6 books over the summer.  Once the children have visited three times they will be given a certificate and a medal. All the library asks is that the children write a review of one of the books they have read by 17th September.
