GEOGRAPHY - Marine Tracking

 What a fantastic lesson using an app to find out what goods were being imported and exported. The children were amazed at how many ships there were. 

Using the app allowed the children to identify the different types of marine traffic and vessels being used today. Through this they were able to identify the majorly trade routes and seaways used. 

Once they had completed their research, they had to ask a question and find the answers and explain this to a friend.

Edie exclaimed, “ I loved looking at the live maps because we were able to see the places around the world and I was surprised how many ships there were.”
