MUSIC - Xylophone lesson

Today, Year 5 revisited the ‘Good, Better, Best’ song we learnt last week. We spent a bit of time practicing the rest points and understanding what the rest symbols mean and look like.

We then moved on to learn a tune called ‘Portsmouth’ which had a nautical feeling and rhythm to it. We practiced first by clapping and counting the rhythm until we felt confident - when we were ready, we put the tune in.

Here is a video - we hope you enjoy!
